Surah Al-Hasyr (Arabic: الحشر, "Expulsion") is the 59th surah in the Qur'an. This surah is classified as surah Madaniyah which consists of 24 verses. Named Al Hasyr which means expulsion is taken from the words of Al Hasyr contained in the second paragraph of this letter. In this letter the story of the expulsion of a Jewish tribe named Bani Nadhir resides in the city of Medina.
