A man had a lucky escape on Sunday, after a shark took a bite out of his surfboard in northern New South Wales, 435 miles north of Sydney, Australia.
Stephen King was out for some early morning surfing when a shark lunged at his surfboard.

"There was just a bang from the side, and I went cart-wheeling through the air, and then there was this thrashing beside me."
But King escaped with only these small puncture wounds on his leg.

"I'm probably the luckiest guy on two legs at the moment. Yeah, unbelievable."
After his brush with death, King stood and marvelled at his damaged board.
