Two animal rights activists caused quite a scene in Seoul Tuesday. Covered only in body paint, the women wanted to make a statement ahead of the G20 Summit.
On Tuesday police in Seoul, South Korea arrested two PETA activists near the G20 Summit venue. The animal rights activists were covered only by blue and green body paint.
They were arrested as soon as they got out of their car.
PETA officials say the two protesters are being detained but no charges have been filed.
PETA is one of the world's largest non-government organizations focused on animal rights and environmental issues.
Thousands of activists are set to gather in Seoul to protest against the G20 Summit on November 12.
South Korea has increased security for the G20 summit during which an estimated 10,000 participants, including 32 heads of state, are expected to gather.
South Korea's chief of police says they have stopped over 200 foreigners from entering the country who have previous records of protesting.
The G20 Summit is a yearly meeting of the world's 20 biggest economies to discuss global financial and economic development.
