Ateneo faces huge odds vs. La Salle in volleyball finals

MANILA, Philippines – In the UAAP Season 76, the odds are looking good for women’s volleyball defending champion La Salle as they prepare to face archrival Ateneo in their third straight finals match. The rookie-laden Ateneo will enter this latest title duel at a huge disadvantage, as La Salle has retained a big part of the core of its three-peat winning team. La Salle, which is coming off a two-week break, also enjoys a thrice-to-beat edge. They earned the top seed in this year’s finals via a spectacular 14-game sweep of the eliminations.
