La Salle defeats Ateneo in women's volleyball

MANILA, Philippines – Defending champions De La Salle Lady Spikers extended their winning streak after defeating rivals Ateneo Lady Eagles in three sets. The Lady Spikers relied on their superb blocking and floor coverage to beat the Lady Eagles, 25-16, 25-20 and 25-16. Mika Reyes continued her dominance, scoring 13 points, including six blocks, to lead La Salle. With the win, the Lady Spikers remain undefeated in the tournament. This is the team’s 22nd consecutive victory since Season 75, and they have yet to drop a set this season as well. In another game, the NU Lady Bulldogs outlasted the Adamson Lady Falcons to win its sixth game in the UAAP Season 76.
