Teacher Allegedly Shows Up Drunk And Without Pants To School

A newly hired teacher was arrested after showing up to her first day of work drunk, and not wearing any pants.

The first day of school is never easy. One teacher in Oklahoma had an especially tough time.

On her first day of work Monday, 49-year-old Lorie Ann Hill allegedly showed up intoxicated and without any pants.

Two teachers saw Hill in an empty classroom appearing disoriented.

Hill was a newly hired teacher at the Wagoner High School so none of the other teachers knew who she was.

School officials called the police around 9 a.m.

She was charged with suspicion of public intoxication and spent a night in the Wagoner City Jail.

Frank Sandiford, a parent angry with the circumstances said, "I don’t know, as an adult, I just don't know how you can be a professional teacher and teaching young people, and then show up drunk."

Thankfully, only teachers had returned to the school Monday. Students start school Thursday and it's unclear whether or not Hill will be there.
