Flesh-Eating Saltwater Bacteria Has Now Killed 10 People

The Vibrio Vulnificus virus, a cousin of the Cholera bacteria, thrives in warm salt water. Over the past few years the Florida Department of Health has reported 32 hospitalizations and 10 deaths. It was also warned that people can contract vibrio by eating contaminated raw oysters and shellfish.
