Congratulations and condolences in Florence, Italy.

The family of murdered British student Meredith Kercher reacts to the guilty verdict of U.S. student Amanda Knox.

The court found Knox and her former Italian boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito guilty of murdering Kercher in 2007.

Here's Francesco Maresca, a lawyer for the Kercher family.

"We are satisfied. We have this verdict that has confirmed the work that has been done in all these years, first by the prosecution in Perugia and then by the prosecution in Florence and by the work we ourselves have done. The accusations have obviously passed the test also of the Florence court, we think a some justice has been carried out for Meredith and for her family."

Knox was found guilty in 2009, then freed after an appeal.

Her lawyer, Luciano Ghirga, was stunned.
