The Chaperones

@thechaperones
"The Chaperones" - an established Pop Doo Wop singing group originally formed in the late 1950's. Original members of the group were Tony Amato (lead), Roy Marchesano (first tenor), Tommy Ronca (second tenor), Nick Salvato (baritone) and Dave Kelly (bass). While several original members of this have kept active, a key transition is taking place that will take Doo Wop to new levels.

Enter "The Chaperones - The Next Generation"..

Combine these past "Josie Records" Recording Artists with a new cast of talented young established seasoned performers and you have a complete "recipe for success". Join us as we take "street corner harmony" to new heights with our reminiscent renditions of the Chaperone "Vintage Oldie" Originals and a new collection of our own originals (acapella as well).

We are also thrilled to be a part of history: "The Chaperones" were nominated by "The Lettermen" for a slot in the "Vocal Groups Hall of Fame" and are eagerly awaiting induction....fingers crossed everyone!

As you can see from this video "Real Men Really Do Sing Doo Wop". Sit back and enjoy this clip of us singing for a Haiti Benefit in Fremont, Nevada (Las Vegas Rocks Cafe owned by Tony Sacca)

Seen in this video is the next generation of "The Chaperones" to include Stevie Dunham, Kenny Rios, Dave Dannemiller & Ken Allan Phillips.
