Rygar review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Rygar for Nintendo PlayChoice-10. What the hell is a Rygar? I ask you. And this game doesn't do much to answer. What it does say, though, is that you can bolt exploration mechanics onto a platformer, and put it on a PC10 board, and confuse people when they're talking about "The arcade version" of Rygar. It's an inventive step, and one that seems to work better at home than on the time-limited PlayChoice. It's part RPG (but not really), part platformer (kinda dicey), and all Tecmo.
