For most Europeans, the Eurovision Song Contest is a well-known institute and an irreplaceable part of European culture. Around since 1956, when the first Eurovision Song Contest took place in Lugano, Switzerland, the contest quickly became a true European tradition. Alexander Rybak won the 54th Eurovision Song Contest in Moscow this May with his song Fairytale which peaked at number three in the European charts. Due to that the next edition of Europe's favourite TV-show will be held in the capital of Norway.
