Chiller Night Theater

Chiller Night Theater features classic (and not so classic) horror and science fiction movies from yesteryear. The show adds skits and commentary in between breaks in the movie performed by Jack Shadow (played by Jack Shadow) and a few other characters, which include Aura the witch (played by Ava Hogue). The program also has an interview segment called "Chiller Chat" where the show's creator, Bryan Hogue, talks with various guests who appear on the show. Such guests have included Bill "Chilly Billy" Cardille (former host of Pittsburgh's Chiller Theater), Tom Savini (Special effects make-up artist and actor in movies such as Dawn of The Dead and From Dusk Til Dawn), Russ Streiner ("Johnny" from Night of The Living Dead), John Russo (co-writer and actor from Night of The Living Dead), Jim Krut (the "Helicopter Zombie" from Dawn of The Dead), George Kosana (Sheriff McClelland from Night of The Living Dead), professional wrestling legend, Bill Eadie as The Masked Superstar (who also wrestled as & Demolition Ax), and Stan Gordon (internationally-known UFO/paranormal investigator who has appeared on Ancient Aliens, In Search of Aliens on The History Channel and Unsolved Mysteries). Hogue has also gone on location to film interviews for Chiller Chat, joining Gary Streiner at the Evans City Cemetery and the "old farmhouse" property, which were film locations from Night of The Living Dead.

Chiller Night Theater can be watched on Venango County's local access television on Oil City's Comcast, channel 22 and Franklin's Time Warner, channel 6. For those outside the viewing area, the program can also be viewed online at www.chillernighttheater.com. In addition to Chiller Night Theater, the website will also feature an online program titled "Chiller Night Presents", which shows independent films submitted by local filmmakers.
