Donna Summer, Quincy Jones Are Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Inductees

Donna Summer and Quincy Jones are just a few names that made into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is a tribute to some of the world's most famous musicians and song producers.
Recently, celebrity stars like Oprah Winfrey and Usher paid homage to the 2013 inductees. They included Quincy Jones, Donna Summer, Rush, Albert King, Public Enemy, Heart, Lou Adler and Randy Newman.
Oprah was reportedly discovered by Jones when he cast her in 1985 in the film “The Color Purple”. Winfrey handed the 80-year-old his trophy.
Donna Summer, who passed away last year was inducted by former Destiny’s Child singer, Kelly Rowland. Summer’s family accepted the trophy for the talented songstress.
69-year-old, Randy Newman started off the celebratory night performing “I Love LA”, accompanied by numerous other well known musicians.
The aim of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum is simple. Music authorities established the tribute organization in an effort to collect and preserve the impact the industry has made on citizens around the globe.
