Olympic figure skating Bronze Medalist, Phillippe Candeloro, watched Shen Yun perform in Paris, France. He was amazed at the similarities to figure skating.
[Phillippe Candeloro, French Olympian, Figure Skating]:
"It's a wonderful show, because first we see a lot of figures that are similar to artistic ice skating when the dancers spin on the floor, we wonder how they can do it without having ice under their feet. And I find there is a good harmony between all the dancers, that is very brilliant."
The cooperation and friendship shown by Shen Yun's dancers left Candeloro very impressed.

"What we also see in this show is that all the dancers worked very hard to be present on stage today, and they are all on the same level, that is to say there is not one of them that tries to surpass the other. They play different roles in the show but in the chorus they all enjoy it, we don't feel any competition between them. On the contrary, everybody is in perfection with a smile and a lot a lightness."
Candeloro truly appreciates that Shen Yun is sharing legends from Chinese history with Europeans.

"Unfortunately, we don't always have this in France and in all the shows that I have seen until now. It is very colorful, the costumes are extraordinary. There are legends that us Europeans know very little about, so we get into the story and it's very interesting. I also liked that there's a lot humor in this show."
Shen Yun's unique choreography with the animated backdrop led the audiences' imagination.

"What I also find very good, is the interaction between the backdrop screen and the dancers, I think it's a great success. Beautiful drawings and sketches done on a big screen that stimulate our imagination."
At the end of its Paris performances, Shen Yun wraps up its 2013 tour of Europe.
