Rolling Stones announce tour, Madonna returns to Malawi

The Rolling Stones have unveiled details of their biggest tour in six years, playing dates in North America and Britain. The band said they would kick off their "50 and Counting" tour in Los Angeles on an unspecified date but would then play Oakland, California on May 5 and eight other cities including Toronto and London.

Madonna has returned to Malawi, the country where her foundation, Raising Malawi, has built ten schools so far. The singer met with children. She also announced that she is selling an abstract painting worth up to 7 million dollars, to raise funds for girls' education projects in Afghanistan and Pakistan.

Jay Leno has announced that he is retiring from his 22-year post as host of NBC's "The Tonight Show." Leno will give up his seat in 2014, handing over the reigns to former Saturday Night Live star, Jimmy Fallon.
