Number 5 – Punalu'u Beach in Hawaii is home to black sands with contrasting vibrant blue water. Giant, endangered green sea turtles are common sights along the shore and swimming directly off the coast.
Number 4 - Hyams Beach in Jervis Bay, Australia is a Guinness World Record holder for having the whitest sand. The turquoise waters and blue skyline make it a serene and perfectly beautiful spot. The north end of the beach contains a rock platform.

Number 3 – Along the coast near Cape Town, South Africa is a popular beach with large boulders that protrude from the sand. Essentially a cove, the area is appropriately named Boulders Beach. Visitors not only enjoy the unique landscape, but also delight in watching the cute penguins that make this beach their home.

southernmost tip of the state, anyone who wishes to visit must hike a grueling 3 miles along sea cliffs. Upon arrival, visitors are greeted by a massive rock formation which stretches out into the water and unusual olive green sands.
