Breakdown review. Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of Breakdown for the Xbox developed by and published by Namco. Breakdown tells the story of Derrick Cole, a soldier who finds himself in a lab with no memory of how he got there—or who he is. Strange things immediately begin happening to him, and he soon finds he has strange abilities. Though its gameplay is severely flawed, Breakdown was in many ways ahead of its time.
