Scientists look to Antarctic for clues on life

A team of scientists is in the Antarctic searching for signs of life in a lake that has been buried under the ice for hundreds of thousands of years. Experts from the British Antarctic Survey are preparing to bore down to the subglacial Lake Ellsworth, deep beneath the West Antarctic ice sheet, to collect samples of water and sediment.
