The Eagles have lost seven straight games. They fall to 3-8 on the year following a 30-22 home defeat on Monday night football to the Carolina Panthers as a +3 point underdog. The over under came over 41 ½ points. Philadelphia fails to hold a fourth quarter lead as they get outscored by Carolina 9-0 in the fourth quarter. Their offense produced 311 yards with 204 running on 26 carries. They have three turnovers and take none from Carolina. Nick Foles hit on 16 of 21 passes for 119 yards. Foles has one touchdown and three picks so far. His hometown is Austin Texas. Bryce Brown ran for 178 yards on 19 carries with two touchdowns. They put up 16 points a game ranking 30th in the league. There was major injury for Philadelphia on Monday night as they lose DeSean Jackson for the year with two broken ribs. Impact running back LeSean McCoy is questionable with a concussion and missed Monday night’s loss.

The Cowboys fell to 5-6 on the season after a 38-31 home loss on Thanksgiving Day to the Washington Redskins as a -3 ½ point betting favorite. The total landed over 47 points. After taking a 3-0 lead after one period the Cowboys get outscored 28-0 in the second quarter and their rally fell short. Their offense posted 458 yards with 35 from their run game on 11 carries. Tony Romo hits on 37 of 62 passes for 441 yards with three touchdowns and two picks. Romo has 16 touchdowns and 15 picks on the season. Dez Bryant caught eight passes for 145 yards and two touchdowns. Dallas allowed Washington to put up 437 yards of offense with 142 running the football on 30 attempts. The Cowboys can’t run the football. Opposing defenses don’t respect their run ability. It makes passing much tougher when defense know you can’t run the football. Until Jason Garrett can figure this out the Cowboys will not be successful.
