Jai Prakash Chouksey, AUTHOR OF BOOK "Mahatma Gandhi and Cinema" is deepli involved in Bollywood for forty long years and gives much importance to the Cinema that has been teaching him a lot.he further says that launch of the book remained cancelled for four times and at last it is happening at St.Andrew's Audotorium.St.Andrews was the best friend of Mahatma Gandhi and great poet Rabindranath Tagore.
Bollywood star Salman Khan launched a book titled "Mahatma Gandhi and Cinema" in Mumbai at St. Andrew's Auditorium in Bandra with showman Subhash Ghai.Subhash Ghai said that he would like to congratulate and thank the author for choosing such a deep subject The book discusses about the influence of Mahatma Gandhi on cinema.
The event was attended by a series of Bollywood personalities like actress Kirron Kher, actor Randhir Kapoor, veteran actor Prem Chopra, Boney Kapoor, Mukesh Bhatt and writer-director-producer Mahesh Bhatt.
Salman's family members his father Salim Khan, mother Salma Khan, Helen , sister Alvira Khan and brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri were also in attendance at the book launch.
Salim Khan has written the foreword for the book in Hindi.
