President Obama may be rubbing his hands together this Friday after the US jobless rate fell to
7.8%, its lowest level since January 2009, when he took office.
The result beat expectations, and one index of job gains registered its best figures since 1983.
Figures for July and August were also revised upwards by more than 80,000.
