Doctor Who: "Genesis of the Daleks" Vinyl LP (excerpts), 1979

In 1979, the BBC released a condensed soundtrack version of the popular classic "Genesis of the Daleks" as a 12" vinyl LP. With specially-recorded bridging narration by actor Tom Baker, this was therefore probably the first true Doctor Who audio adventure. The BBC have recently released a re-mastered version of this version of "Genesis" as a reasonably-priced LP-style "Vintage Beeb" CD.

This video is of the original vinyl LP. It is a BBC Record, distributed by PYE Records. The number of the record is REH 364.
