Asteroids review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Asteroids for Playstation 1. The original Playstation sure saw its fair share of arcade remakes, but the one that set this craze off was Asteroids. This takes the gameplay of the arcade original and updates it with 3D graphics and additional power-ups. You move around the asteroid belt, blasting everything in your way. The core gameplay has not changed, only enhanced with powers, shields and upgrades. There are multiple levels and different twists that make each its own thing, creating a somewhat deeper game than the original. But in the end, it's just an enhanced version of Asteroids and really that is all you can want.
