Those famous soup cans are making a comeback.

Fifty years after Andy Warhol made the Campbell’s Soup label a pop art icon, the food conglomerate is honoring the artist by unveiling a set of limited edition cans of tomato soup based upon his original artwork.

The promotional cans will come in four colorful designs that will feature Warhol quotes, such as, "In the future, everybody will be world-famous for 15 minutes."
Originally, when Warhol created the now legendary paintings, Campbell’s considered taking legal action for copyright infringement, but ultimately recognized the popularity the images were receiving and embraced the artist’s work.

Throughout the years, the company has commissioned two paintings directly from the artist and founded the Andy Warhol Scholarship Fund with the New York Academy of Art.
It has been said that Andy Warhol ate Campbell’s soup everyday for lunch for over 20 years..

The 1.2 million Warhol cans will be sold at Target stores for 75 cents each.
