CGRundertow RIVAL TURF! for Super Nintendo Video Game Review

Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow video game review of Rival Turf for the Super Nintendo (also available on the Wii's Virtual Console). Jaleco's cult classic beat-em-up from 1992 is the first installment of a trilogy of 16-bit brawlers known in Japan as Rushing Beat, but in North America the sequels are known as Brawl Brothers and The Peacekeepers. You control the two LAPD detectives Jack Flak and Oozie Nelson, with a mission to clean up the streets, with gameplay and character design heavily inspired from games like Final Fight and Streets of Rage. This review features Rival Turf gameplay footage and commentary from CGRundertow reviewer Kevin.
