CGRundertow CAPTAIN AMERICA: SUPER SOLDIER for Nintendo DS Video Game Review

Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Captain America: Super Soldier from Griptonite and SEGA for the Nintendo DS. Unlike the console version, Captain America: Super Soldier is a side scroller on the Nintendo DS. This is a good thing, because mediocrity always goes down smoother in 2D. But even so, these level designs are completely vacant of thought. A few platforms here, a few enemy swarms there, repeat ad nauseam. That's all it takes to make some nondescript levels for a nice, nondescript game. The gameplay is pretty vacant, as well. You just hammer the Y button to perform combination attacks on what are mostly hapless and repetitive enemies. You learn some advanced maneuvers along the way, but I never had to use them. Honestly, I kind of stopped paying attention, anyways. This video review features video gameplay footage of Captain America: Super Soldier for the Nintendo DS and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.
