The Magician's Handbook: Cursed Valley review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of The Magician's Handbook: Cursed Valley from BC Soft Games and G5 Entertainment for the iPad. The Magician's Handbook is a traditional take on the hidden object genre. The background images are mostly static, and there are no fancy animations or cutscenes. But what it lacks in presentation, it makes up for with its gameplay. It's a bit easier to find what you're looking for, and the game also throws some puzzles into the cauldron, as well. The idea is that each collection of levels has a set amount of objects you need to find in order to learn a new spell. It's a nice touch that emphasizes the magician theme as well as diversifies the gameplay.
