Kutcher to play Steve Jobs, Neil Patrick Harris to host Tonys

Ashton Kutcher will play the late Apple founder Steve Jobs in an upcoming biopic. Production will begin in May while Kutcher is on hiatus from the CBS sitcom "Two and a Half Men." He will portray Jobs through his rise from hippie to hugely revered technological entrepreneur.

Neil Patrick Harris has signed on to host the Tony Awards. It will be his third stint as host of the show - which honors Broadway's best musicals and plays. The Tonys will be handed out on June 10.

Catherine Deneuve has been honored by the Film Society of Lincoln Center's Annual Chaplin Award Gala - recognizing the French actress' international fame and her groundbreaking career. Other honorees have included Elizabeth Taylor, Meryl Streep, and Tom Hanks.

Finally, Rihanna hit the red carpet in Tokyo for the premiere of "Battleship" - the singer's film debut. She posed for pictures on the red carpet and took time for interviews. She plays a daredevil naval officer in movie - which is due out May 18.
