Robin Gibb has surgery, Taylor Swift to be honored

Robin Gibb has had to undergo further intestinal surgery. The 62-year-old founding member of the the Bee Gees announced last month that he was making a "spectacular" recovery from cancer - but the singer has now been forced to cancel several commitments due to his lapse in health.

Taylor Swift will get a very special recognition at the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards on Saturday (March 31). The singer will receive the The Big Help Award for her charity work. U.S. first lady Michelle Obama will present her with the honor.

The rags-to-riches musical of the life of Susan Boyle premiered in England. The audience took to their feet as the Scottish singer herself made a special appearance and performed her signature song "I Dreamed A Dream." Around 200 fans from around the world converged in Newcastle to watch the musical - it will run there through March 31.

Finally, Kate Winslet and James Cameron hit the red carpet in London for the 3D release of "Titanic." It's been 15 years since the original film was in theaters - the re-release also marks the 100 anniversary of the famous ship's sinking on April 14, 1912.
