Le monde évolue et la société change. La Cerisaie est appelée à disparaître… Après Salammbô et Judith, Philippe Fénelon crée un troisième opéra à l’Opéra de Paris, La Cerisaie, d’après la dernière pièce de Tchekhov.

The world evolves and society changes. The Cherry Orchard is destined to disappear... Further to Salammbo and Judith, Philippe Fénelon’s third opera, The Cherry Orchard, after Chekhov's last play, will also be premiered at the Paris Opera.
Performed at the Palais Garnier from January 17th to February 13th 2012
