Invité au Palais Garnier, le Ballet Royal du Danemark présente une relecture d’un grand ballet de son répertoire dont la tradition ne cesse de vivre et évoluer. Chef-d’oeuvre d’August Bournonville, Napoli est revisité par Nikolaj Hübbe qui déplace l’oeuvre dans les rues du Naples des années 1950.

Invited to the Palais Garnier, the Royal Ballet of Denmark performs a second reading of one of the great ballets of its repertoire whose tradition is alive and never ceases to evolve. A masterpiece by August Bournonville, Napoli has been revisited by Nikolaj Hübbe who has transposed the work into the streets of Naples in the 1950s.
Performed at the Palais Garnier from January 6th to 10th 2012.
