Winehouse death may be re-examined, "Soul Train's" Cornelius dies

The coroner who oversaw the inquest into the death of Amy Winehouse has resigned after her qualifications were questioned - that means the investigation into the singer's death may have to be held again. Winehouse's relatives said they were still absorbing the the news and were seeking legal advice. Winehouse's death was ruled accidental due to alcohol poisoning.

Don Cornelius, the creator of the iconic U.S. television dance program "Soul Train," has died. Officers discovered his body after responding to calls of gunshots at his home - early reports are that it appears to have been a suicide. He was 75.

Sean Penn has been honored by Haiti's President for the relief work he has done in the country since the devastating 2010 earthquake. Penn was named ambassador-at-large for Haiti. The actor said he plans to honor the commitment that comes with his new title.

Sofia Vergara is the most desirable woman of 2012, according to an annual survey by AskMen.com. The "Modern Family" star topped the list for her "impossibly perfect curves." Runners up included model Kate Upton and actress Rooney Mara.

Finally, change is coming to the Oscars Hollywood venue, the Kodak Theater. Kodak, which filed for bankruptcy recently, has asked a court to remove their name from the outside of the famed theater. No word on if or how this will effect the future of the awards show.
