Hammers fans will hope he's right but the truth is they've been waiting to turn a corner for a long time now. The Hammers flirted with relegation last campaign and their six-season stay in the top flight is under threat once again.
Now they face a West Brom team who have impressed under Roberto Di Matteo, winning on their last visit to London against Arsenal and following that up with a draw at Manchester United.
