Willis and Mirren see Red at UK premiere

Bruce Willis is taking advantage of Hollywood's new found love of aging action heroes, but admits he can not believe he is still working.

"It's astonishing that I'm even standing here," said the actor, 55, at the UK premiere of his latest movie RED at the Royal Festival Hall, London.

"I'm trying to erase some of the mistakes I made in the nineties," he joked.

Hot on the heels of his last blockbuster, The Expendables, with Sylvester Stallone, RED sees Bruce alongside Dame Helen Mirren, John Malkovich, Morgan Freeman and Richard Drefuss. The comedy caper follows a group of over the hill CIA agents who can not seem to give up their old jobs.

Braving the wind and rain in a long black gown, Dame Helen praised the cast of movie legends.

She said: "It was like walking onto a car lot that specialises in classic cars. That's what these actors were like - incredibly polished, beautifully maintained and well running classics."
