Late Noon Sun is a four screen film I made for Ear Cinema, which playfully attempts to unravel the mysterious tale of Little Mary. The full 22 minute version of the film combined live stage performances. It premiered at London’s ICA then went on to play at The Arnolfini and continues its national and international tour in 2009. Ear Cinema projects are led by Wajid Yaseen, who invites filmmakers to devise and create original pieces of work for interactive, live stage performances and ambisonic soundscapes. Late Noon Sun is the third in a series of Ear Cinema projects. Funders: The Arts Council of England.
