Elephants Back Safari at Victoria Falls with Kingfisher Safaris

You'll have the opportunity to learn about these incredible creatures and to form a bond with your elephant, gaining some wisdom into the relationship between these animals and humans. You'll get a better understanding of the issues that elephant conservationists tackle on a daily basis in Africa.

There are five different herds in Victoria Falls and Livingstone. We recommend only two. The Wild Horizons Trust manages one herd of orphaned elephants in Zimbabwe at Elephant Camp. The Zambian elephant back safari trails begin at Thorn-tree Lodge in the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park.

Elephant back trails take place at sunrise and sunset daily. Further interactions occur at breakfast, lunch and dinner.
