Bible Bred- Original Country Gospel

Bible Bred Verse 1 I was bred, on God’s dear wisdom, spoken through the words I sang From a child, taught the Good Book, note by note through hymns I learned about His name, Jesus loves me! This I know, For the Bible tells me so; Little ones to Him belong, They are weak (They are weak) but He is strong. Verse 2 Then with age, there came commitment, to my parent’s legacy, Trusting Christ, to take my burden, I repented and turned to Calvary. Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound, That saved a wretch just like me. I once was lost but now am found, Once was blind (Once was blind) but now I see. Verse3 Troubles came, and stole my fire, trials called my worst fears out On my knees, I talked with Jesus, He can make a faithful man loose all his doubt Oh, what peace we often forfeit, Oh what needless pain we bear, All because we do not carry, Everything (everything) to God in prayer! Verse 4 With time came proof, of my conviction. Other’s knew it must be so. Yet I sinned, just like I hated, plant me Lord, and in your field there I’ll grow. Jesus, Jesus, how I trust him!, How I've proved him o'er and o'er! Jesus, Jesus, precious Jesus!, O for grace (O for grace) to trust him more! Verse 5 Then one day, when life is ended, and the good Lord calls me home, I will go, to be united, with the saints of ages past, the vic’try won. Will the circle be unbroken?, By and by lord, by and by, There's a better home a-waitin', In the sky lord, in the sky.
