Leonard Cohen Plaque Dedication Ceremony Chelsea Hotel NYC

A new plaque was unveiled at the Chelsea on Oct. 23, 2009 commemorating the 75th birthday of poet,singer/songwriter, novelist Leonard Cohen. The event was created by Cohenist Dick Straub , and funded by over 300 members of the Leonard Cohen Forum all over the world. Present was Leonard's sister Esther Cohen, Dick Straub and his wife, photographer Linda, Robert Kory, Leonard's manager, John Lissauer, producer, and Larry Ratso Sloman, Dylan biogrpher, Leonard Cohen liner notes author, and David Elder,manager of the Chelsea Hotel who provided refreshments.
