This is a hay feeder/bale feeder manufactured by www.ActionSignsAndBillboards.com. Yes we make signs but we also manufacture horse feeders and cattle feeders. With our chain hopper the bales sits in the chain hopper and not on the ground. The 16 chains that come down from the side of the bale feeder create a hopper that the bale sits in. Cattle can't pull out large chunks of hay because the chains help hold the hay in place. Cattle have to chew the hay between the chains. The loose hay falls into the bottom of the hay feeder and can be consumed later.
