Met Police say remains found in Croydon park are human and are treating death as murder

Police have discovered further human remains in a south London park.The Metropolitan Police were alerted to the grim discovery in Rowdown Fields, off Lodge Lane in New Addington shortly before 9am on Tuesday.Police consulted with a forensic anthropologist who confirmed that what had been found was human.The incident is being treated as murder and officers currently believe the remains belong to one victim.
