"Aquaman" is a superhero film based on the DC Comics character of the same name. Directed by James Wan, the film was released in 2018. It stars Jason Momoa as Aquaman, along with Amber Heard, Willem Dafoe, Patrick Wilson, Dolph Lundgren, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, and Nicole Kidman in supporting roles.
The plot follows Arthur Curry, the half-human, half-Atlantean heir to the underwater kingdom of Atlantis. Despite his reluctance to embrace his destiny as the ruler of Atlantis, Arthur is forced to confront his half-brother, Orm, who seeks to unite the underwater kingdoms and declare war on the surface world.
