Inside Maidstone Dressing Room Celebration George Elokobi's Side Belts Out Adele and Sweet Caroline

Maidstone United celebrated their FA Cup giant-killing against Ipswich by belting out Adele's 'Someone Like You' in the dressing room.

The National League South side earned a stunning 2-1 win over Championship high fliers Ipswich Town at Portman Road to book a place in the last-16.

Footage from the dressing room post-match showed the squad celebrating their victory by singing Adele's No. 1 hit from 2011.

The celebrations appeared to get more wild as the squad sang Neil Diamond's hit Sweet Caroline, another familiar song for sporting occasions.

Maidstone's heroes began spraying water across the dressing room as they belted out the chorus.

Maidstone became the first team from the sixth tier of English football to reach the Fifth Round since Blyth Spartans in 1978.

The Stones, managed by former Wolves star George Elokobi, had stunned Ipswich by taking a 1-0 lead in the first half through Lamar Reynolds.

Hosts Ipswich appeared to have regained control when Jeremy Sarmiento pulled the Championship side level in the 56th minute from the edge of the box.

Sam Corne then scored the historic goal to restore Maidstone's lead and send the non-league side through to the last-16.

Elokobi and his players celebrated with 4,500 away fans at the full-time whistle following their shock win.

The former Premier League player had started the day by taking his players outside the stadium before the game to address some of those supporters.

Elokobi had stressed that the players and fans should enjoy the day.

Maidstone has now won seven ties on their memorable run to the last-16, beating League Two side Barrow, League One's Stevenage, and now Championship Ipswich.

The National League South side will discover their opponents in the FA Cup fifth-round draw on Sunday, with a Premier League side a potential prize.
