Global oil prices rose 3% on Wednesday as disruptions in Libya's top oilfield and escalating Middle East tensions raised supply concerns. Brent settled at $78.25, up 3.1%, and WTI crude settled at $72.70, up 3.3%, marking the most significant daily gain for WTI since mid-November.
