What Christmas traditions does Birmingham value most?

It's crept up on us but with the Frankfurt market here in town, seasonal adverts and decorations throughout the city - we can safely say we're in the Christmas period. Plenty of time honoured traditions for many families. I'm here to see which ones people here treasure most.
