Snooker fans have heaped praise on Mark Williams for hitting one of the 'best shots of the year'.
The Welsh snooker star, 48, was up against Barry Hawkins in the 2023 Champion last night as both looked to book their place in the last eight.
However, despite losing 4-0 to Hawkins, Williams managed to produce a moment of excellence.
The Welsh snooker star deliberately missed a pink which was hanging over the pocket to snooker his opponent.
After completing the genius shot, Williams can be seen with a wry smile on his face as he walks back to his chair.
