La Jefa Celebrates Culture Through Painting

Phoenix artist Kathryn Sesma, better known as La Jefa, is excited to announce her inaugural solo art exhibition “La Vida Es Un Carnival” which translates to Life is a Party.
Friday, November 3rd from 6pm-9pm at Luna Culture Lab 803 East Washington Street in Phoenix. Admission is FREE. “La Vida Es Un Carnival” will take gallery goers through a kaleidoscope of colors and perspectives that defines La Jefa’s artistic world. La Jefa’s art uses Dia De Los Muertos and Mexican culture influence as the influence as subject matter through the vibrant realm of mixed media paintings adorned with glitter.
