Fred Bird Rhythmicians - Tip-Toe Through The Tulips With Me

I had some trouble finding information about this German bandleader. fortunately I found some good notes at formiggini's YT channel. Fred Bird (pseudonym of Felix Lehmann) was between 1924 and 1932 the recording manager of the Homocord (Homophon) label. He led many studiobands, as "Félix Lemeau" for concert and salon music, "Fred Bird", "Jim Clensh", "Henry Head" "Fred Bird Rhythmicans" and so on. After Paul Whiteman visited Germany, Fred Bird founded in 1926 his "Symphonic Jazz Band". From time to time good soloists like Howard O. MacFarlane (tp), Arno Lewitsch (vl), Mike Danzi (bj,g) or Al Bowlly (g, voc) played with his recording bands. This excellent record was made in 1930.
