905 HP Flagship Introduced as Electric GT, New Lotus Emeya Electric GT 2025

Lotus introduced the Emeya, which will enter production next year and accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 2.8 seconds.
The model, which is scheduled to enter production next year, follows in the footsteps of the Eletre and will be the company's first sedan since the Carlton.
Lotus is keeping all the details under wraps, but said the model has a dual-motor all-wheel drive system that develops up to 905 hp (675 kW / 918 PS) and 726 lb-ft (985 Nm) of torque. They added that this will enable the vehicle to accelerate from 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 2.78 seconds before reaching a top speed of 256 km/h (159 mph).
Power is provided by a 102 kWh battery pack, which is significantly smaller than the one used in the crossover. However, the vehicle will have "market-leading charging capabilities" as it can achieve a range of 93 miles (150 km) in as little as five minutes using a 350 kW DC fast charger. If you are not in a hurry, you can reach 80% charge in 18 minutes.
In terms of styling, there are no surprises as the model adopts a sharp and angular design that mimics the Eletre. Lotus hasn't said much, but the car has slim lighting units and a bulging bonnet. These are accompanied by an active grille, an active diffuser and an active rear spoiler.
When we go down the sides, we can see the flush-mounted door handles and camera compartments. The designers have also given the car contrasting black A-pillars that extend towards a matching roof. Other highlights include a ventilated rear panel and a slim light bar.
Lotus has only given a few glimpses of the cabin, but we can see a minimalist interior with four individual seats. However, a rear bench seat has been seen in previous spy shots, so customers will likely have a choice between the two.
Regardless, the model features a flat-bottom steering wheel and a small digital instrument cluster. These are joined by a floating infotainment system that looks like a clear Tesla rip-off. The company didn't go into details, but it's likely 15.1 inches in size, like the crossover.
Rounding out the highlights are carbon fiber trim and stylish switchgear. Lotus also said the model features Alcantara and Nappa leather upholstery, as well as repurposed fibers from the fashion industry as a nod to sustainability.
Lotus will release additional details in the fourth quarter, but the model features electronically controlled air suspension as well as a KEF sound system. The latter automatically adjusts based on sensors that "feel the road 1000 times per second."
