Taiwan VP Leaves New York After U.S. Transit

Taiwan's Vice President Lai Ching-te has left New York for Paraguay, ending the first of two U.S. stopovers that could tip the balance of U.S.-China-Taiwan ties and define Lai's own presidential ambitions.
