West Midlands Police has arrested four men on suspicion of murder after a teenager found with gunshot injuries in Nechells has died. The 18-year-old victim was discovered with head injuries on a towpath off Mount Street at just after 12.15am on Monday
Police are investigating after a man was found with stab injuries in Erdington at around 5pm on Tuesday. The 20 year old was taken to hospital and is understood to be in a serious but not life-threatening condition. Police are patrolling the area and appeal for more information.
One hundred and twenty two rail ticket offices are under threat. The proposal to close comes as bosses outline how just 12 percent of tickets are sold at ticket offices compared to 82 percent in the 1990s. West Midlands Railway say they intend to offer retraining to staff.
